NE Property Management is seeking a detail-oriented, friendly, and organized Regional Property Manager with previous experience in the Property Management industry.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in multifamily property management, including at least 3 years in a multi-site leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple sites and teams successfully.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) designation preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of 4-10 multifamily properties within assigned region.
  • Ensure properties operate in accordance with company policies and brand standards.
  • Conduct regular property visits and inspections to evaluate performance, curb appeal, as well as maintenance and leasing standards.
  • Partner with Regional Service Directors to implement preventative maintenance and capital improvement programs.

Financial

  • Assist in developing annual operating and capital budgets for all assigned properties.
  • Review and analyze monthly financial statements, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and expense reduction.

Personnel

  • Recruit, train, and mentor Property Managers and on-site teams to ensure high engagement and retention.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and professional development.
  • Approve new hires, promotions, and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR and the Area Vice President.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with Property Managers.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and collaboration.
  • Ensure all staff complete required compliance, safety, and skill development training.

Marketing and Leasing

  • Support the implementation of marketing, advertising, and outreach programs to maximize leasing performance.
  • Ensure effective marketing positioning and brand consistency across all assets.

Resident and Client Relations

  • Ensure superior customer service and resident satisfaction across the portfolio.
  • Respond promptly to escalated resident or owner concerns in a professional manner.
  • Conduct periodic resident feedback evaluations and implement actions plans for improvement.
  • Support Property Managers in handling complex resident or vendor issues.

Compliance and Safety

  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Confirm all properties adhere to safety protocols, preventative maintenance schedules, and emergency preparedness procedures.
  • Review and report all liability, property, and workers’ compensation incidents promptly to the Area Vice President and HR.

Administration and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate property data, financials, and reporting files for portfolio review.
  • Submit required reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly). 
  • Serve as a key liaison between corporate leadership and on-site management teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments such as accounting, marketing, and HR.
