Pay: $18.50/hr.
1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:55am to 4:25pm

Machine Operator Responsibilities

• Operates metal stamping machines, including high-speed punch presses and multi-slide machines producing parts to ISO work instructions.
• Operates plastic injection molding machines.
• Completes secondary operations including assembly or forming of components.
• Visually and dimensionally inspects parts produced using gages, optical comparators, microscopes, micrometers, and calipers.
• Packages parts produced in appropriate containers and quantities.
• Documents production information on floor inspection and tally sheets and tracks production quantities and labor hours through our computerized shop floor reporting system

Machine Operator Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or willingness to attain.
• Must be able to read and write English and possess basic math skills.
• Experience in the use of precision measuring and inspection equipment is desirable; must be capable of developing the ability to read the measuring devices and visually inspect parts accurately to close tolerances using microscopes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs., push/pull objects, and stand and sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to develop a working knowledge of Quality procedures and work instructions.
• Must be flexible in working overtime to meet production demands.
