Location: Florida (Primarily)

Your Role:

Due to ongoing Walmart contracts for new stores, multiple superintendent roles are available. As a Superintendent, you will lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing field and subcontractor personnel to ensure smooth project execution
  • Managing the construction schedule, including short-interval production timelines
  • Ordering materials and scheduling inspections as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and client change orders
  • Maintaining positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Preparing daily reports, safety records, and ensuring final punch list completion
  • Promoting and enforcing safe work practices on-site
  • Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements, including storm-water guidelines
  • Organizing and maintaining a clean and structured job site, including the on-site office
  • Leading weekly progress meetings with all trades
  • Assisting the Project Manager in budget control and job cost reporting
  • Reviewing subcontractor scopes and providing feedback before contract awards
  • Establishing staging plans and managing site logistics
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to schedule critical path pre-construction meetings
  • Ensuring quality work throughout all project phases

Your Background:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising and coordinating subcontractor trades
  • Expertise in scheduling, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production in all construction phases
  • Strong experience in ground-up construction for Big Box Retail , Grocery Stores, and similar
  • Walmart ground-up experience is a significant advantage
  • Familiarity with OSHA 30-hour Construction Training (preferred or must obtain upon hire)
  • SWPPP Certification Desired
  • WRIKE and FieldWire Knowledge a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated team player capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with the ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation; willingness to travel as needed
