Description As a Case Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, transcribing, and documenting complex medical and historical information from various sources including patient records, provider notes, legal documents, law enforcement documentation/investigation materials and visual/audio records. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and organization of case records for use in legal or insurance review processes. Essential Functions Review and extract relevant medical and other information from complex documents, including medical records, reports, and supporting files, strictly for expert use. Accurately transcribe using proper medical terminology and formatting standards. Prepare structured summaries of findings for use in case assessments, quality review or legal proceedings. Summarize and comprehend complex topics, utilizing critical thinking skills to determine relevance and required depth of detail, identify missing sources of information, and maintain confidentiality. Relay complex case data and factual findings accurately to forensic experts without offering opinions or interpretations. Maintain a high level of efficiency, employing time management strategies to prioritize casework with particular attention to case deadlines. Participate in company-wide or site-wide administrative projects and/or training as directed. Requirements Educational background in pre-med, nursing, exercise science, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, or athletic training. Completion of college course in anatomy (with lab) and physiology is an absolute requirement. Bachelor’s degree required, post-bachelor coursework a plus. Experience as a medical scribe or in a medical documentation support role is preferred. Excellent grammatical skills are required, and the ability to learn and operate communication software, and equipment. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow instructions precisely. Demonstrates a willingness to learn, adapt to change and continuously improve skills and performance. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong professional attitude, demonstrating punctuality, adherence to dress code and other office policies, and respectful communication. Intermediate Proficiency in Email, Word Processing, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, project management, database, and/or other professional software required.
